I’ve never heard of the place before, but going by what I can see in the word itself, the first half is “Whyt” which we know is White and the second part is tricky Rosik, this might come from ”Rosie” or ”Ross”, I can’t see it being the Slavic word Rosic? So just by looking at the word I get Whiterose but could be way off, I’ll need to do some research into it.
